What are your office hours?
The office is open Monday from 8:30am – 5:00pm, Tuesday from 3:00pm – 8:00pm and Thursday from 2:00pm - 7:00 pm, with the exception of holidays, vacation and days we close to attend continuing education. Extended hours are available by appointment.
Do you take my insurance?
We work with almost all insurance companies and the real question is will your insurance company work with us! Dr. Taub has refused to allow any insurance companies to dictate what should be done for our patients. When you “sign-up” or “join a network,” that’s exactly what happens. We feel that healthcare decisions should be made by the patient and the doctor, and not by someone whose job it is to save money for the insurance company!
Can I make payments?
For your convenience we accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Ask us about our discount if you pay your portion up front. For our patients who prefer to keep their dental care expenses separate from their other available credit, we have acquired an exceptional financing resource, Dental Fee Plan (1-888-337-4171). What if I don't have dental insurance?
We are offering to all our patients, their family members, their friends and co-workers our own in-house* private dental health plan. If you presently do not have dental benefits please call our office and we will send you all the information regarding our private dental plans.
As you know we live in times of layoffs, COBRA expirations and HMO plan changes. Many company's monthly dental premiums are continuing to go up, while at the same time the dental benefits are continuing to go down. You may also know of someone who is presently unhappy with their dental plan that forces them to choose some unknown doctor on some limited insurance list of providers. This alone limits their freedom to choose the doctor of their choice that they trust and feel comfortable with.
Our private dental plans are very affordable and will enable you and your family to receive the dentistry you need and at the same time comfortably fit it all inside your monthly budget.
These plans utilize the same concepts of dental plans many companies offer that you are already familiar with. Only these plans are more patient friendly, more affordable and has eliminated the costly "Middle-Man," also known as the insurance claims adjuster. With these plans there will be no more third party intervention on the dental treatment you desire to have done. This alone keeps the costs down and passes the savings onto you.

AFFDENT™ dental plans allow you to pay a monthly membership fee for discounts on your dental expenses. These benefits provide coverage that can be budgeted at an affordable monthly expense while receiving excellent discounts for basic dental work.
Your dentist's office will administer the plan directly to you. There is no need to contact a third party company for information. All questions regarding plan membership types or any other questions should be directed to your dentist's office personnel.
Your dentist may refer you to a dental specialist. AFFDENT™ members must verify the specialist's participation in the AFFDENT™ plans prior to accepting treatment. Your dentist will have a complete listing of participating specialists.
TYPE I DENTAL SERVICES:
A 100% discount for all consultations, exams, x-rays, sealants, child fluoride treatments and two basic cleanings per year. These services are applied toward your yearly benefit maximum with no additional out-of-pocket expenses.
TYPE II DENTAL SERVICES:
Fillings, simple extractions, scaling and root planning periodontal services, basic root canal therapy, build-ups, PFM crowns, PFM bridges, inlays, onlays, dentures, partials, any type of soft or hard denture relines and all types of transitional partial dentures. These services are applied toward your yearly benefit maximum. There will be a 50% discount off the doctor's private fees. The out-of-pocket fee is due the day of service.
Emergency Visits, Limited Exams or any temporary palliative treatment fees are exempt from this plan.
Your dental decisions about your dental care should be between you and your dentist without the interference of a third party involvement.

What happens if I need to change a scheduled appointment?
We strive to find times in your schedule that are best for you. In addition, we manage our schedule on-time and reserve ample time to provide you with the service and care that you deserve. We understand our patients have busy lives and are not always in total control of their schedules. For this reason, we respectfully request a minimum of 24 business hours for any change to a scheduled appointment. We are very considerate of your time and conscious that you have a busy schedule. That’s why Dr. Taub is very careful to run on-time. He does this by not over-scheduling or overbooking appointments. If you postpone at the last minute, we have no way of filling that time slot. Of course, we understand that there are always true emergencies, so please give our office a call as soon as possible if you find that you’re not going to be able to keep a scheduled appointment.
What makes you different than any other dental office I can visit?
The difference in our office is pretty well summed up by the comment we frequently receive from our patients: “I’ve never been treated so well before!” There is an old saying that goes, “No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” We care! We offer a broad range of services so that most of your dental treatment can be done in the familiar, comfortable setting of our office. In addition, we can usually provide your dental treatment in as few visits as possible. That makes it easier for you to fit your dental care into a busy schedule, since there is no need to come in time after time for endless appointments.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit to our office is designed to get to know you better, to find out what is important to you and to determine what conditions are present in your mouth. We do this by gathering as much information as possible: medical-dental history, periodontal-oral cancer screening, TMJ evaluation, functional analysis, necessary x-rays and maybe models of your teeth. Then, a separate consultation visit can be scheduled. At that time you and the Doctor will go over the findings and determine exactly what will be done, how much it will cost and how you can pay for it.
Will I get my teeth cleaned at my first visit?
Probably not. One of our goals is to be on-time for your appointments. The way we do that is to know exactly what we’re going to do, and then schedule the appropriate amount of time to do it! There are at least a dozen different types of cleanings and we don’t know which one you need until we actually see you. Again, we have your busy schedule in mind. These methods will save you time and money in the long run.
